this is my 1st but i plan on a hospital water birth. a true midwife will deliver in the hospital and not push off an un medicated birth as she will do whats best for you and if you need drugs she will see to it it happens. a home birth too much can happen, if something happens your in trouble because theres no dr around and you have to wait on a paramedic to arrive. i would say a hospital is best just because they have drs on hand in case something does happen.

My birthing experiences where amazing, they where both drug free and i loved them. Yes it was hard but if you relax and go with your body the pains are tolerable. They where both hospital births but next time i am planning on a homebirth, i wish i had of done a homebirth for my second but i didn’t have enough knowledge back then but now i do and i can’t wait until i get pregnant and give birth again.

I was in a hospital. I was induced because my son was 6 days overdue and after being in labor for 9 hours my doctor came in and said I had to have a c-section due to my son’s head being too big to go past my hips. It was fine. Except I absolutely hated the fact that I had to sit in the recovery room for 30 minutes before I got to hold my baby!!!

I would never opt for birth at home. Too dangerous for a baby. I was in a hospital and it was best birth experience. I ended up with c-section and that saved my baby’s life. if I chose home bith my son would not be here today.
That’s my opinion.
