I Am Contemplating A Natural Birth With No Epidural Can Anyone Tell Me Their Story?

I have had two children both with epidurals, first epidural great experience, second epidural i am not sure if my anesthesiologist was no good or what but i felt pain in the same area for months after birth and it hurt very bad when she gave it to me and i had great labors with both but would love to try no medication, can somebody give me their inspirational story, has anyone experienced both? thank you all

I am due in about a week, first pregnancy and have been preparing for a drug-free birth! Now that I am at the end, I’m becoming a little nervous! I know I can do it but encouragement and positive birthing stories always seem to help! I have been working with a doula in my home! This has helped my husband and I tremendously, but I’m still nervous! Any tips or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I visited the gyno yesterday because I’ve been struggling to have painless sex for the past month (I’m recently newly married and was a virgin up until then) Well come to find out my boney structure is abnormal and extremely narrow (part of the problem why sex hurts so much for me) the doctor told me there is a good chance I won’t be able to have natural birth due to the shape of my boney structure. I’ve always wanted children and have always wanted to give natural birth. Now that I may have to have c-sections when in the future my husband and I decide to start having kids, are they really that bad? I’ve heard such horrow stories.

I am scheduled to have my labor induced in a few days (baby will be 10 days late by that time!) Dr. said I will be given a tablet to start contractions…what is the tablet? Can you share your own induction experiences/stories? Also, recommendations on going through induced labor WITHOUT epidural?

I have read so many different books, magazines, etc. that I am just looking to hear actual women’s stories. I plan to have a natural birth but I’m open to whatever may happen on that day. I was wondering how long it actually took you ladies to recover after giving birth. And by recover I mean – you felt like yourself again (well as close as you could get).
1) How long before you could have sex comfortably again?
2) How long before you felt like your vagina was “back to normal.”
3) How long did it take for you to loose the baby weight?
4) Did you have a natural birth or did you use pain medication?
