Hi
In a previous pregannacy with a previous partner i had BStrep which my daughter caught during birth. She had an infection in her lungs but with some care in scbu and antibiotics she is now a thriving 6 yr old.
4 yrs ago i had another daughter with my now husband and had to be induced due to pre eclampsia after i went a week overdue and had anti biotics during labour to ensure baby did not contract BStrep due to my history which she did not.
We have now decided to have our last child but i would love a home birth but would i be allowed to with the BStrep history? I would never want to put my baby at risk but is there a possiblilty because 1 of my children contracted BStrep that any others will?
Thank you anyone for any help. I would just like to know if there is no chance as otherwise i would even discuss it with my midwife.

Photo Birth Announcements To Announce Your New Baby!

Celebrating the addition of a new family member is a great reason to send out Photo Birth Announcements. These are a great alternative to traditional birth announcements because they offer not only the wonderful news of the child’s arrival but a photo or picture showing how adorable and precious the new arrival is. Before you begin sending the Baby Birth Announcements, there are a few things to keep in mind.

Baby Birth Announcements: Etiquette Tips

First, you should know that birth announcement should be sent no later than four months after the arrival of your precious lil one, preferably much sooner. If you wait too long, most of the recipients will have already seen your baby in person which defeats the purpose of the Personalized Baby Announcements Cards.

Of course you may not feel like preparing the photo baby birth announcements immediately. Do some work in advance, such as picking out the announcements you want to use, entering all of the information you know and creating a recipient list. Once the little one is born, you can always enlist the help of some friends or family members to help you put everything else together.

Second, you need to know who should receive photo baby announcements. You don’t have to send them to everyone you know. Choose only the people who would be the happiest about the news or who would want to see an early picture or photo of the new arrival. That usually limits the list to family members, old friends of the family and maybe some acquaintances from your church or job.

Finally, with Baby Birth Announcements Cards you need to include some specific information. One piece of information that must be included is the child’s full name. That means you can’t start sending out announcements until you’ve chosen a name for the him or her. You’ll also want to include details about the newborn, such as the exact time and location of the delivery and the infant’s size and weight at birth. The last information you want to include is the name of the parents, as well as the names of the child’s siblings.

Most people also include some type of verses or sayings that is either personalized on the announcement cards or is written specifically for these announcements.

Tips for Baby Photo Birth Announcements

To have good photo cards, you’ll need to start with a good baby photo. The hospital may offer to take pictures of your newborn child, which may be nice to have, but you will probably end up paying too much and not being able to use them as you’d like. Instead, wait until the bundle of joy comes home. Place him or her in a sitting position. You could use a car seat or carrier if you want. Some parents prefer just to have the child sitting on their laps. Snap as many pictures as possible using a digital camera then select the best photo to use with your photo birth announcements.

Now a day, prenatal yoga is becoming more popular and is essentially practiced by pregnant women for its health benefits. It is a way to ensure a healthy and smooth pregnancy. The term ?yoga? refers to a Sanskrit word ?union? it means ?to join.? The aim of prenatal yoga is to unite the body, mind and spirit through poses, breathing exercises, and meditation.

Prenatal yoga has five fundamental tools: yoga exercises, mudras, meditation, breathing exercises, and deep relaxation techniques. These tools when practiced regularly can provide benefits to you and your baby?s health as well as increases your ability to have natural and easy childbirth.

Yoga exercises works efficiently on the organs of the reproductive system as well as on the pelvis to make sure a smooth pregnancy and easy delivery. At the subtle level, the prenatal yoga exercises guarantee a good supply of blood as well as essential nutrients to the developing fetus.

Mudras are one of prenatal yoga tools. Mudras are hand gestures with psychophysical stimulation, which provides powerful effects on your reproductive organs when practiced regularly.

Meditation is a therapeutic tool that helps overcome the feelings of anxiety, depression, worries and clashes that are very common for pregnant woman during pregnancy. Meditation provides an unbelievable awareness that helps you bond with your child in a strange way.

Breathing exercises are powerful techniques and practicing them during pregnancy provides sufficient oxygen supply to you and your growing child. The breathing exercises of prenatal yoga increases your body fitness during and after pregnancy.

Deep relaxation techniques of prenatal yoga are very effective for pregnant woman during pregnancy. These techniques help provide physical and mental relaxation. Yoga Nidra (Yogic sleep) is a deep relaxation technique, which is effective mainly during pregnancy for childbirth preparation.

During prenatal yoga, as a pregnant woman, you may feel more difficult in balancing yoga asanas because of a change in the center of gravity. So, here are the points to keep in mind while practicing prenatal yoga. Never lay down flat on your back once you reach twenty weeks of pregnancy.

Lying on the abdomen is safe in early stages of pregnancy, but it becomes painful in the later stages if you are with breast tenderness.

Forward bending asanas help ease the backache of pregnancy. However practicing these asanas in the later stages of pregnancy causes nausea because of increased abdominal weight. Also, avoid standing asanas for long periods since it leads to dizziness.

Drink plenty of water in the hours before your prenatal yoga class. Always use additional pillows, pads or blankets (if necessary) to increase the support during prenatal yoga.

As a pregnant woman, you get warm easily. So, make use of fans or air conditioners (if necessary) during warm weather.

On the other hand, it is highly recommended not to practice prenatal yoga if you are with pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH), an incompetent cervix, constant vaginal bleeding, episodes of premature labor, or any serious medical conditions. Also avoid prenatal yoga if you are carrying multiple babies. Visit Pregnancy Zone

I don’t have insurance (everything is so expensive.) We are currently building our businesses. I refuse to get government assistance because its too much they want in return to me. I started studying on going unassisted. If this pregnancy continues, I will pay for the tests that I feel necessary, and buy at much home monitoring supplies. And give birth at home. In case of emergency, go to hospital and now they can’t charge me for delivery!!!
I am very educated and feel strongly that I can do it just like they did back in the day.
Would you do this. Opinions please. Here is a website that offers experiences, articles and videos.http://www.unassistedchildbirth.com/

Just something I’ve always wondered!
As a child i had a condition called enuresis – i was still wetting the bed until i was 15. aside from wrecking my self-confidence (living in a body over which you have no control really isn’t fun) for all of my childhood, this is something i’ve begun to wonder. i’m now 25 and have grown out of it, but i’m aware that after childbirth, it’s quite common to lose some control over your bladder muscles and there’s excercises you can do to restrengthen them. but if you’ve had enuresis as a child, is this more difficult to regain, or are you stuck with a lifetime of incontinence? can this be avoided by caesarean?
i do not care how rewarding natural motherhood might be, if it means condemning myself to incontinence for the rest of my life, i will adopt.

For me, Male pregnancy is the most ridiculious scientific experiment I have ever heard of. I do believe, yes, this time they have gone a little to far. As a woman, I think it’s an insult to us women this stupid little experiemient… getting’ a dude pregnant… is so unnatural! If a couple can’t have children, there’s a surrogate Mother. That’s more natural. Adoption is more natural… Ya’ll have this much free time? This idea could kill countless of homosexual males. What about miscarriages? As far as I care, those people are sick! That takes a lot for me to say. it’s totally unholy. What about the kid? Who’s going to say “Sonny, you’re a test tube science expermient!” Word spreads that Lee Jr. is a test, and he’ll get teased back and forth. Why would you try to leave women out of the equation concerning childbirth? It’s totally against God’s law.
What do you think about male pregnancy? Are you pro or against it? DO you think it’s insulting woman or do you think it’s a great…
